Bull City Startup Stampede: Run With It
What started as an informal idea over a cup of coffee has turned into a part of Durham’s innovation ecosystem. The Bull City Startup Stampede™ is running its third session starting June 1 and will welcome 11 early-stage companies to downtown Durham. The Bull City Startup Stampede™ works from the premise that the best resource we can provide an entrepreneur is another entrepreneur. We provide early-stage companies 60 days of free, cool space, a community of peers, and a chance to learn from successful startup founders.
This third session will have a new setting in the nationally acclaimed American Underground, which is home to a thriving group of startups, accelerator programs, investors and support organizations, giving the companies everything they need within walking distance. The previous two Bull City Startup Stampede™ initiatives have resulted in 15 new companies in downtown Durham, several of which have received funding, others have been accepted to prestigious accelerator programs, and many more have launched a product and taken on new employees. With over 70 startups in downtown Durham, this is the place to take your idea and run with it.
